This formula of liquid relief is not drowsy and flavored by berries contains HCl phenylene and is free of alcohol and sugar. Generic name of the generic Sudafed PE COUGH-COLD (S): fenilephrine-dextromethorphan Uses This combined product is used for temporary treatment of , full nose and pain/pression caused by infection (such as , ) or other respiratory diseases (such as , ). This product contains a (like , ) that works by narrowing the vessels to help relieve the symptoms of the nose and pressure. This product also contains a no- (such as chlophedianol). It affects some part of the (center) to help you stop. Talk to your doctor before using this product for a chronic cough or too/clean. Cough and cold products have not been proven safe or effective in children under the age of 6. Therefore, do not use this product to treat children under 6 years of age unless specifically directed by the doctor. Some products (such as long-acting tablets/capsules) are not recommended for use in children under the age of 12. Ask your doctor or to learn more about the safe use of your product. These products do not cure or shorten the length of it and may cause serious side effects. To reduce the risk of severe side effects, carefully follow all dosage directions. Do not use this product to make a sleeping child. Do not give you another cough and cold that may contain the same ingredients or similar (see also the section). Ask your doctor or pharmacist about other ways to relieve cough and (such as drinking enough fluids, using drops/spray of the humidifying nose or saline). How to use the CHILD Sweed PE COUGH-COLD If you are taking the free sale product to be treated, follow all directions in the product package before taking this. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or . If your doctor has prescribed this medication, take it as directed. Take the tablet, capsule or liquid form with or without food. This medication may be taken with food or milk if there is a disorder. The dose is based on your age, medical condition and response to treatment. Do not increase your dose or take this medication more often than indicated. Do not take more of this medication than recommended for your age. There are many brands and shapes of this product available. Read the dosing instructions carefully for each product because the amount of and can be different from the products. If you are using chewable tablets, chew each tablet well and swallow. If you are using the liquid form of this medication, measure the dose carefully using a special measuring device/cup.
